“The Power of 100” campaign is a fresh, new vision that has yet to be fully realized. Tomorrow’s achievement of this ideal depends today on individuals, like you and ninety-nine others across this country, who firmly believe in the worth and necessity of new Canadian opera. Opera.ca's “Power of 100” donors are ready to commit, annually, a set sum of money that will serve as the core foundation of our Canadian Opera Creation Fund.
This campaign represents not only the collective vision of one hundred individual opera lovers who each year contribute their dollars in support of The Canadian Opera Creation Fund; we also expect that our campaign contributors will become our most valued and powerful tool in leveraging new commitments from potential corporate donors, as well as ongoing support organizations such as the Canada Council for the Arts and our current roster charitable foundations who generously give to the Creation Fund.
All “Power of 100” contributors can be assured that their individual contribution will go directly to supporting new opera in Canada. In addition, there are a variety of benefits attached to belonging to the “100.” There are a variety of donation levels: at every level donors make vital and important contributions.
