Barbara Hannigan Awarded Léonie Sonning Music Prize

Congratulations to Canadian soprano & conductor Barbara Hannigan, who has been awarded the 2020 Léonie Sonning Music Prize. Denmark’s highest musical honour, this award is presented annually to an international composer or musician.
The award will be presented on April 23, 2020, in Copenhagen’s DR Concert House at a performance by the Danish National Symphony Orchestra with Barbara Hannigan conducting.
