Julia MacVicar; Soprano (They/Her) is an opera singer and interdisciplinary artist based in Tkaranto.
A singer, musician, actor, and poet from Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island), they spent five years in Kjipuktuk (Halifax, NS) pursuing a BA in Music at the Fountain School of Performing Arts (Dalhousie). They’ve picked up various musical skills over the years including piano, guitar, and the
electric bass guitar. As a neurodivergent individual, MacVicar is passionate about increasing accessibility within creative spaces and exploring different narratives.
