Opera at Banff Centre is a performance-based, collaborative training experience for emerging opera professionals that truly challenges the conventions of opera performance, production, and design. The focus is to develop early career opera professionals with the skills and experience to take them to the next level of their careers in an evolving industry.
In 2023, Banff Centre is excited to announce multi-disciplinary programs, one of them taking place at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa for Module 1 and all culminating in an additional 3 weeks of programming at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity for Module 2.

Opera at Banff Centre est une expérience de formation collaborative basée sur la performance, destinée aux professionnels de l’opéra émergents, qui remet véritablement en question les conventions de la performance, de la production et de la conception d’opéra. L’objectif est de développer les professionnels de l’opéra en début de carrière en leur donnant les compétences et l’expérience qui leur permettront de passer à l’étape suivante de leur carrière dans un secteur en pleine évolution.
En 2023, le Banff Centre est heureux d’annoncer des programmes pluridisciplinaires, dont l’un se déroulera au Centre national des Arts d’Ottawa pour le module 1 et qui se termineront tous par trois semaines supplémentaires de programmation au Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity pour le module 2.
