Hourly Rate: $21/hour
Duration: 8 weeks – 35 hours/week

Remote Position
Description
The Association for Opera in Canada (AOC) is seeking a Data Analyst – Research to assist in analyzing national and organizational arts data and developing new comparative tools that support Canadian opera companies. This position is ideal for someone with a strong data background and an interest in the arts.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data from the Cultural Data Project and the Canadian Arts Data (CADAC)
- Examine and interpret AOC’s historical data models across both sources
- Design and build a new combined data model/dashboard based on both sources’ key metrics
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data visualization and modeling
- Familiarity with Cultural Data Project databases is an asset
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience working with arts sector or nonprofit data preferred
- High level of autonomy and attention to detail
- French is considered an asset (not required)
