Exploring the Potential of Social Finance in Opera: New Case Studies and Insights
What could Canada’s opera sector accomplish with access to new forms of capital? Could repayable financing help bring productions to new audiences, create new revenue streams, or turn promising ideas into sustainable ventures?
These are some of the questions driving AOC’s multi-year exploration of repayable finance, also known as social finance, and its potential applications in the opera sector.
We are pleased to share our latest report, Building the Investment Pipeline: Case Studies in Social Finance Readiness from the Opera Sector. It features case studies from participants in AOC’s Opera Bonds Accelerator Program, alongside additional potential uses for social finance that have emerged through conversations beyond the program.
