Through a Canada Council for the Arts Seed grant, AOC is engaged with Social Innovation Canada in the early stage exploration of the use of social finance in the opera sector.
Our work together comprises 5 stages phases:

- Opera Summit Consultation (November 2023)
- Webinar – Virtual Consultation (February 2024
- Readiness Survey (March-April 2024)
- Findings Report (May/June 2024)

A pool of capital raised through an investment opportunity. The capital raised would be loaned to organizations and individuals in the opera sector to fund programs and activities that generate a social and financial return.
