Through a Canada Council for the Arts Seed grant, AOC is engaged with Social Innovation Canada in the early stage exploration of the use of social finance in the opera sector. We have held two consultations with the sector to date, one in-person at the Opera Summit in Winnipeg in November 2023, and the other by Zoom in February 2024. The last part of our exploration is a Readiness Survey to discover the overall needs, opportunities and barriers in the opera sector to leveraging social finance opportunities.
The Survey is open to all members regardless of whether you attended one of the consultations.
The survey should take about 10 minutes and should be completed by the person(s) in your organization responsible for revenue generation, overall financial picture, and future planning.
Results from the survey will inform an aggregate (non-identifying) sector Readiness Report to be published on our website, and shared with the sector.
